Wildflowers Mural

New London, WI

Designed and co-painted by my mother, Karyl, Wisconsin Wildflowers is a tribute to the native flora of our beautiful home state.

Massive credit is owed to the Wolf River Art League, who pioneered the mural effort, and the businesses who offered up their empty walls. Thanks to dozens of WRAL volunteers, the city of New London now has over 60 murals and counting!

Our flower forest can be enjoyed year-round on the east face of Water Street Vintage.

There’s power to things when they’re larger than life ~

and when they’re the only color to be found in the drab, bitterly cold Midwestern winters.

Process

Collectively, we spent over 623 hours painting.
…and singing, and laughing, and obsessing over details.

It was awesome.

The WRAL mural project was featured on local television!

Love you, mom.
