3 Tall Pines

Take care of the land
and it will take care of you.

As Wisconsin residents continue to fight for the legalization of recreational cannabis, hemp-derived products like those from local farm 3 Tall Pines are thriving.

I had the pleasure of working with 3 Tall Pines to create custom illustrations, apparel designs, print media, marketing, and all sorts of packaging – seltzer cans, tinctures, vape cartridges, flower, edibles, and more.

3TP’s Cherry Pie Delta-8 Seltzer was the first of several refreshing collaborations with Plymouth Brewing Company – and the first hemp-derived THC beverage to hit Wisconsin shelves.

This original can design pays homage to the companies’ shared home base of Plymouth, WI.

Tincture label design for 3TP x Earthy Herbs Apothecary. Each variety features a hero blend of herbal powerhouses, like lion’s mane mushroom, gingko, elderberry, and chamomile.

Grass Bash

3 Tall Pines’ Grass Bash event is such a blast to design for.

The first-annual poster (above) highlighted the chill, bluegrass theme planned for the event. I channeled the analog feel of classic silk-screened posters by illustrating each layer from background to foreground on individual sheets of tracing paper with a fat black marker. After scanning each page, the layers were vectorized and re-assembled digitally to create the final poster design.

This year marks the third-annual Grass Bash, whose marketing (below) is invites folks of all ages to gather for an afternoon of great music & hemp education at the idyllic Fam Wisconsin Discovery Center. The poster artwork is a twist on 3 Tall Pines’ logo – retaining their iconic trio of pines, knotted wood border, flowing banners, and radiant sky – and will also be printed on apparel.
